Federal Reserve Bank of ChicagoThe CRSO Senior National Account Executive manages customer relationships for a large portfolio of complex FRS national accounts, provides client support, and generates sales revenue for checks, ACH, book entry, funds, electronic access, and non-cash price services. In addition, the incumbent recommends customized business solutions to expand the use of Federal Reserve Financial Services. The level of work required is considered advanced and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision. This job does not have direct reports, but may assist in training and development activities for team members.
Your Responsibilities
- Leads the development of service proposals and oversees the initiation of service for new customers and support for non-routine customer problems
- Coordinates operations and technical support within each District in response to the needs of the National Account customers
- Develops solutions to complex business scenarios, presents ideas to customers, and overcomes difficult objections and issues raised by customers
- Sells and promotes new and existing products and services to achieve System sales objectives
- Responsible for meeting individual sales and revenue goals for assigned territory
- Maintains an integrated and coordinated face-to-face sales calling program that includes effectively communicating with Bank management officials across multiple areas within the customers organization
- Develops comprehensive sales and marketing plan to meet FRFS and customer strategic goals and address competitive environment in conjunction with Nation Account Manager
- Demonstrates leadership through coaching and mentoring of National Account Executives on joint sales
- May provide input on training, supervision, goal development and guidance to staff
- May make hiring recommendations and evaluate and/or provide feedback regarding staff performance
- May provide work direction to others and may check and approve others work
- Provides guidance to National Account Executive and sales support staff regarding technical analysis of customer information, problem resolution and quality assurance
- Identifies and drives opportunities for improvements in services/products or the quality of service based on customer interactions
- Contributes product development ideas with relevant payback and analysis for large and complex customer calls
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as noted below
- 7 to 10 plus years of direct sales experience
- Independent thinking and decision-making abilities
- Possesses and applies both broad and specific knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of the field of sales to the completion of assignments
- Strong knowledge of the Federal Reserve System and the products, services, practices and procedures of the FR Financial Services
- Possess a high level of technical skills, product knowledge, and awareness of competitive forces within the Federal Reserve System
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively to accomplish the goals and objectives of the
- System Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license 40% to 60% travel required
- Relocation may be desired, but not required

- Ability and willingness to travel up 60%
