Functions include supervisory and administrative support, resource management and scheduling, technology development and support, business continuity, and information security. You will provide thought leadership, subject matter expertise and strategic direction for supervision policy and programs and high priority initiatives across the reserve bank and system. You will be responsible for maximizing operational efficiencies and excellence across S+C by strategically directing resources to evolving needs driven by local and System changes in policy, procedures, and technology platforms that support the supervisory examinations process.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and strategic direction of the teams functions to ensure the alignment with the strategic direction of the Group, Bank and System.
Build, sustain, and lead productive relationships with counterparts across the Group, Bank and System, to ensure proactive and strategic decisions are made to maximize and sustain operational efficiency for our local business units.
Create and execute strategies necessary to advance our approach to supervision support in a dynamic environment.
Provide vision and leadership, and a model of technical competence in areas of responsibility, routinely evaluating the functions structure, team and performance to ensure continuous improvement, efficiency and intended impact.
Participate as a member of the Groups senior leadership team, assuming collective responsibility for the Groups strategy and overall performance.
Lead strategy, development, and delivery of critical operational and technology infrastructure, products, or services at the System, Bank, and S+C levels to address a broad range of complex supervision-specific business challenges.
Actively lead/influence FRS initiatives and committees and local SF Fed initiatives in areas aligned with the SF Fed strategic vision and direction
Requirements
Typically requires bachelors degree preferably in accounting, finance, business, statistics, or related field of study or equivalent work experience; Masters degree preferred
Typically has 15+ years of business or banking supervision leadership experience; requires 12+ years of progressive people and business leadership experience
This position requires access to confidential supervisory information, which is limited to Protected Individuals. Protected Individuals include, but are not limited to, U.S. citizens and U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents who are not yet eligible to apply for naturalization, and U.S. permanent residents who have applied for naturalization within six months of being eligible to do so or who will sign a declaration of intent to apply for naturalization before they begin employment.
Typically requires FOMC Level Clearance
Requires broad expertise and knowledge of the business of banking and banking supervision
Knowledge and expertise regarding the Federal Reserves supervision model, processes and regulatory guidance
Base Salary Range: Min $218,400 Mid $280,900 Max $349,300 (San Francisco)
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic market data.
