The Treasury Services Division is hiring for an entry-level to senior level Analyst position. Analysts within this function provide support to technology applications managed on behalf of the Fiscal Service. Analysts work directly with Bank Officers, Managers, and internal and external customers to provide budget and variance analysis, metrics creation and tracking, project management support and documentation, training and presentations, and administrative/security initiatives support. Analysts serve as consultants to management by supporting the completion of complex projects and identifying and offering recommendations for process improvements. Analysts also are afforded opportunities to provide instruction to other analysts within their department and across the Bank and are a key component of the Banks leadership pipeline.
This position will require you to work from our Kansas City office. This is a hybrid position that offers considerable work from home flexibility. Remote candidates will not be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages and/or performs project related work such as department operational improvements, staffing needs, department or Bank objectives, or procedure/policy reviews and updates. Develops recommendations and makes presentations to management and department staff.
Conducts quantitative and/or qualitive analysis, which may include identifying trends, monitoring data, preparing reports and/or visualizations, providing recommendations, and presenting findings.
Researches market/industry practices, collects and analyzes data or information, draws conclusions, and presents results.
Participates in budget related activities, such as developing and monitoring budget, compiling data, monitoring expenses, responding to inquiries, providing documentation, explaining variances, presenting to management, and providing rationale and recommendations.
Manages, coordinates, or conducts activities related to identifying and managing department risks, such as internal audits; compliance and risk management; and Business Continuity testing and plan maintenance.
Coordinates business requirements and process changes for automated systems.
Develops training plans and materials for department and/or Bank employees and trains others on the material.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What We Look For:

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to use Excel is preferred. Interest and/or knowledge of data and analytics is preferred.

Knowledge of budget and accounting principles.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
No experience required. 1 or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
Novice understanding of subject.
Incumbent must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless the Bank grants an accommodation based on a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.
United States citizenship or lawful permanent resident alien status with at least three or more years of United States residency from the date of legal entry to the United States is required for this position.
This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. These additional screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take up to a couple of months to be completed. You can begin work before the screening is completed; however, continued employment is contingent on acceptable screening results. The areas screened may include education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reference checks.
